Welcome to Kina Creates!

This is a project I am creating to help me reclaim my own relationship with the internet.
It is a project of self-betterment and deeper understanding of my world, inlcuding the technical world.
More practically, it is a collection of my personal creations, from writings to crafting to some light journaling.

Updates~

Still extremely busy. That New Orleans travel blog didn't happen but I picked up a new project- making a zine! Will it happen? Who knows!

I have recently finished the following media:

• What Moves the Dead: Review here!

Currently, I am smoking the following media:

• Arco Trip (anime): This is an anime coming out this season (Fall 2024). This set-up is pretty much exactly the same as MahoAko, the ecchi magical girl anime from a couple seasons back. Except this time, it's not pornographic! Woohoo! It's a fun concept: what if a magical girl fan is tricked into siding with the villian side for the excitement of watching their hero save the day.
• The Stories of Girls Who Can't Be Magicians (anime): This is an anime coming out this season (Fall 2024). This is SO CUTE AND COZY. The pastels are soft, just as I like them. I love the design of the witch teacher who has a frog on her large brimmed hat.
• Magilumiere (anime): Probably the most popular of the magical girls coming out this season, but idk it's kinda too shounen for my tastes. Still, it does some cool stuff so I'll follow it.
• Signalis (video game): I suck at horror anything (though I was able to read What Moves the Dead this month!) but I always make it a point to watch my husband play a horror game each October and this was our pick. SUPER good holy hell go play this game. It's surreal, it's tense, it's SAPPHIC, it's everything you (meaning I) could want.

• Magus of the Library (manga): Almost done with volume 2!
• CrossCode (game): Nearly done with ch 3- it's been really nice so far and I keep going to do all the side quests so it may take a bit...

Projects:

• That Minky Momo project is going slowly, and I accidentally made it say "MOMO MOOM" so I need to frog and retry...
• And like I said, I am planning a zine. I'm collecting materials for it, but I found a zine distro center in my area I may reach out to for brainstorming/help.
